We’re only a month and some change into the new year, but there are already some pretty big changes going down here at Studio Culture HQ. Last week, we got a major upgrade, moving our office right into the heart of Brisbane City.

You’ll now find us at Level 6, 410 Queen St, Brisbane, right near Eagle St. Pier. It’s one of the busiest areas in Brisbane, and we couldn’t be more excited for such a great change of scenery! Here’s a picture of the new building:

We thought this might be a good opportunity to revisit our journey so far – from a fledgling start-up operating out of a suburban house to a sought-after digital marketing agency with a long and growing list of high-profile clients.

Our humble beginnings

When Studio Culture was just a baby, its only carers were our Design & Development Director Fil Cristaldi and our Business & Development Director Joe Fox. Back then, they operated the business out of Fil’s house and had to slowly, steadily build the business from the ground up.

It involved a lot of hard work – securing clients isn’t easy when you’re starting out under an entirely new umbrella – but soon, they were making progress and getting places.

QUT Creative Enterprise Australia

Before long, David Bobis joined the team as Head of Digital Marketing and they moved the business into a small office in QUT’s Creative Enterprise Australia (CEA) building on Parer Place in Kelvin Grove. CEA is basically a giant bundle of co-working spaces, where a pretty intimidating amount of talented creatives are working around the clock. Needless to say, it was a major step up.

As business continued to flourish, we upscaled to a slightly bigger office in CEA…

…and then found ourselves on the top floor.

Where are we now?

Today, we’ve got a long list of clients and an impressive, growing portfolio. Our team of SEO people, content writers, social media gurus and web developers is now so extensive now that we simply couldn’t fit into our old office anymore.

That’s why we’ve made the move to the new space in the city, and we can’t wait to get started on this next phase of Studio Culture’s development.
