Viral Marketing is very much a personal medium and generally comes from an identified sponsor though the sponsor does not pay for the spread of the message. Viral marketing usually originates on or within a company’s designated platform, such as social media, or websites like YouTube. It may take on the form of video clips, eBooks, branded software, flash games, web pages, images and text messages.
