Project overview

Melrina Meat approached Studio Culture because they needed to refresh their website and their general marketing.

The Problem

Melrina Meat’s old website was slow, cluttered and out of date, and this was causing a very high bounce rate (30%) and encouraging abandoned carts. Melrina Meat had a wide range of great products, but their website didn’t display these products effectively (the images and text were lacklustre), and many products simply weren’t on the website at all.

Because of their ineffective website, Melrina Meat weren’t attracting enough customers or making enough sales. And that’s where our team came in.

The Solution

Melrina Meat is one of Australia’s largest meat wholesalers. They needed a website that reflected this. So, our mission was to create a new and improved Melrina website that was simple, streamlined, informative, modern, mobile-friendly, SEO optimised and appealing to customers. This process involved creative website design & development, copywriting and SEO strategy & implementation.

The services we provided for Melrina included:

Encourages Enquiries

Melrina’s previous site was confusing to navigate and lacked enquiry forms – and their sales were suffering as a result. To boost their enquiries and make the whole sales process as simple and efficient as possible, we made sure that the site had enquiry forms on every main page.

Customer Friendly

To make sure that Melrina’s customers had all the information they needed, we created informative website copy as well as a FAQs page. This FAQs page is easy to update internally, so the Melrina team can add to it whenever they please.
