Position: Digital Marketing Strategist

Key responsibilities

  • Championing the smooth running of performance accounts (search, social and remarketing) by carrying out daily optimisation, monitoring spend and changing creative
  • Set up of Social Ad and Google Ad accounts for new clients
  • Working under the Managing Director & Account Manager, you will also be required to support initiatives from the Business Development Manager with: reporting, insights and analysis, presentation preparation and more
  • Managing budgets, bids and optimising paid campaigns across social media and Google advertising
  • Conducting, measuring, and implementing the results of A/B tests for ad copy and targeting
  • Performing traffic analysis in Google Analytics related to paid digital traffic and other sources/ mediums
  • Evaluating budget levels and providing recommendations, projections, & forecasts
  • Drive client retention, upsells and client satisfaction
  • Work closely with our director, account manager and our organic and paid marketing team
  • Manage the team to make sure they are briefed and on track from setup through to execution
  • Brainstorm and establish new ideas and techniques to make a campaign improve on their KPIs
  • Consistently managing and developing new strategies to improve campaign performance with the help of the team
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and clients are constantly informed of campaign progress

You must have:

  • 2+ years in a paid performance role, ideally in an agency setting
  • Experience in Google Advertising
  • Experience in Paid Social Advertising
  • Experience in e-commerce marketing
  • Have experience in providing comprehensive, detailed reports
  • Highly personable and able to communicate and sell ideas and strategies
  • Effectively multitask and handle multiple clients concurrently
  • Motivated and willing to learn and improve
  • Confident in working with a team
  • Has the ability to build relationships and gain trust with clients
  • An understanding of business structure, workflow and hierarchy
  • Top level knowledge and experience across all areas of marketing (Social, SEO, Paid Advertising, Email, etc)
  • Be able to deep dive into analytics and data to find areas of opportunity to improve KPIs
